Iris joined Caland Advocaten in September 2023 and works within the maritime and transport law practice.

Iris grew up in Brussels and attended the European School there. In addition to Dutch and English, she is therefore fluent in French.

In 2023, Iris obtained her master’s degree in Civil Law from Leiden University and in 2024 she obtained her master’s degree in Maritime and Transport Law from the Erasmus University Rotterdam. During her studies, Iris worked at a law firm and a Law Clinic and completed internships at various law firms in the Netherlands and abroad.
