In 1999, Mascha graduated in Biopharmaceutical Sciences from Leiden University. In 2005, she defended her thesis at the same university. Mascha started her career as scientist in drug research at Pfizer Global Research & Development in the UK. In 2010, she made the switch to Pfizer in the Netherlands, where she mastered the profession of medicine registration. With an eye for detail and a strong sense for structure, she developed extensive knowledge and experience in the field of document management and compliance.

Since February 2026, Mascha has been working as office manager/assistant at Caland Advocaten.
